Founder Mentoring & CEO Advisory
Running a growing SME is one of the loneliest jobs in business. MLP-X gives the person carrying that weight a monthly rhythm of confidential mentoring and a working Marketing Lab, so both the leader and the business keep moving forward.
The challenges growth creates for founders
As the business grows, the founder's job quietly changes, from doing the work, to managing the people, to leading the leaders. Few founders get any support through that transition.
- Every significant decision still lands on your desk
- It is hard to find anyone to think out loud with, honestly and confidentially
- The leadership team is loyal but not always aligned or challenging
- You are unsure which problems to tackle first because everything feels urgent
- Decisions get made under pressure, without a structured way to test them
Practical support, not theory
- Founder mentoring, regular confidential sessions on the decisions and dilemmas in front of you
- Strategic decision support, structured thinking on major moves: expansion, pricing, hiring, restructuring, succession
- Organisational problem-solving, working through specific people and performance issues
- Leadership team alignment, getting the senior team pointed at the same priorities, with honest conversations
- Senior leadership advisory, developing the managers who must carry more so you can carry less
What it is not
- Not motivational coaching or life coaching
- Not a training course with slides and certificates
- Not generic advice recycled from books
- Not a substitute for your own judgement, the decisions remain yours
How the MLP-X programme works
MLP-X runs on a monthly rhythm with two components:
- A monthly mentoring or CEO Advisory session, one-to-one and confidential, matched to your situation as a founder or chief executive
- A monthly Marketing Lab, a practical working session on your positioning, offers and marketing systems, so the commercial engine improves alongside the leader
The pairing is deliberate: better thinking each month, applied to the part of the business that most directly produces revenue. MLP-X often runs alongside Implementation Sprints, but it can also stand alone.
What founders typically gain
Clearer decisions
A structured, confidential sounding board often results in faster, better-tested decisions on the issues that matter most.
Stronger leadership discipline
Better habits around priorities, delegation and follow-through, the disciplines that make a leadership team effective.
A more capable senior team
Leaders who take genuine ownership, so the business depends less on the founder for every operational decision.
A confidential conversation, founder to advisor
